Rockford Chamber Announces Cancellation of 2020 EXPO

Rockford, MI, August 17, 2020:   The Rockford Chamber of Commerce board of directors decided earlier this month to cancel the organizations 2020 EXPO, joining many other events that have been cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event had been rescheduled to take place on October 24, 2020 from the original date of March 21, 2020.

“Everyone hoped we could make modifications to the event and that we would still be able to host the EXPO safely,” said Linda Southwick, Executive Director of the Chamber. “After analyzing the situation further, we believe it is the best decision to ensure the safety of our businesses and our community and will continue following executive orders.”

This global pandemic has created many obstacles for the Chamber and the business community. For that reason, we are planning a 2021 EXPO to help our businesses not only recover, but thrive. More information regarding the EXPO 2021 will be posted on the Chamber website once available.
