Garden Park
Fireworks are scheduled over the city on Saturday, July 4 at dusk. The event will be preceded by the music of the Oxymorons at Garden Park. The band is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and play until dusk. For more information call the city offices at 866-1537. The event is sponsored by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, Wolverine World Wide, Inc., Rogue River Tavern, The Corner Bar, Rockford Floor Covering and Rocky's Dairy Depot.

Kids young and old are invited to help celebrate Independence Day by decorating their bikes and showing their patriotism.
*Parade registration and line up is in the South Squires Street parking lot.
*The Rockford Police will safely lead participants along the parade route which heads north on White Pine Trail to Squires Street Square and back.
