The Rockford Chamber of Commerce would like to invite kids to come to downtown Rockford on Sunday, Oct. 6 for the Kid's Pedal Tractor Pull! This wonderful event has been a tradition of Harvest Festival for years! Registration begins on Sunday at 1 p.m. with the pull starting at 1:30. There are seven age groups: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10, with ribbons going to the top three pulls of each age group - and participation ribbons to everyone. Rockford Prepares for Costume Contest during Harvest Festival

It won't be long before hundreds of ghosts, princesses and goblins will be taking over the streets of downtown Rockford! The annual Costume Contest is slated for 2 p.m. at the Rockford Rotary Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 5. Costumes will be judged as scariest, funniest, and first, second and third place - and grand prize.
