Who We Are

The Rockford Chamber of Commerce (RCC) is a private, nonprofit, membership-supported organization. By consolidating resources from several hundred businesses large and small, the Chamber becomes an efficient and cost-effective resource for serving business members. We are comprised of businesses, organizations and individuals working collectively to build a strong economy and improve the quality of life in our community.

Mission Statement

The Rockford Chamber of Commerce proudly promotes and supports member businesses and community life in the greater Rockford area.

Vision Statement

The Chamber strengthens member businesses and community life through marketing programs, events to benefit the greater Rockford area, professional development programs, liaisons with government agencies and groups, and networking opportunities.

The Chamber of Commerce is run by its members whom elect a Board of Directors. The Board determines policies and sets goals. The Board’s elected President presides over the monthly board meetings.

The Chamber’s everyday operations are handled by Executive Director, Jeannie Gregory, a full-time employee working in conjunction with the Board of Directors, and a variety of Chamber Committees to implement the RCC’s goals and Mission and Vision Statements. The Board launched a 3-year Strategic Plan and it was utilized as a road map to reach the goals set for the RCC.
