It won’t be long before hundreds of ghosts, princesses and goblins will be taking over the streets of downtown Rockford! The annual Costume Contest is slated for 2 p.m. at the Rockford Rotary Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 5. Costumes will be judged as scariest, funniest, and first, second and third place – and grand prize. During the judging the kids will go around the downtown area trick-or-treating for safe treats and will wind back to the pavilion for the results. This is always a great event, with plenty of kids enjoying the festivities. Be sure and come down and enjoy the fun!
